Student Charge Cards
March 14, 2009
When you are young and leave home for the first time the world is a wonderful experience. It seems that you can meet all challenges. You suddenly find that the things afforded to you while at home are now your expense. What should you do? That is why charge card companies make it so simple for you to get their charge card. They realize that when you first leave home you are going to need many things and along with that many comforts that you grew accustomed. Your parents for instance were there to provide you with pizza on the weekend or when friends were over. This is a luxury I admit but when you grow accustomed to doing a thing it stands to reason that you like to keep doing it. Pizza night rolls around and you only have fifty cents in the pocket. What do you do? You just say, “Charge it!”
Credit card companies depend on the student to use their credit cards often and for a lot of frivolous purchases. That is really not a problem for this is how they make their money. When they hear the students say, “Charge IT!” The credit card companies normally prefer to have the parent sign on the card so that they can have security that the account will be paid. You should make sure that when you select your credit card that you get one that will not charge you a heavy fee for late payments, annual membership fees and high interest rates. You need to know that you have a good credit card to use for all your needs.
